CArouter selected for the OVHcloud Startup Program
CArouter has been selected for the OVHcloud Startup Program, whose cloud credits will go to benchmarking open-weight models on datacenter GPUs. Requests are routed exactly as before, and OVHcloud AI Endpoints stays opt-in.

CArouter has been selected for the OVHcloud Startup Program, which gives young companies cloud credits and technical support.
OVHcloud runs datacenters in Canada and in Europe, and its AI Endpoints service is already one of the providers on the gateway.
OVHcloud on the gateway
OVHcloud AI Endpoints serves open-weight models from Gravelines, in France, and ships switched off. A workspace that accepts processing in Europe switches it on in Settings.
Routing stays the same
Requests are routed exactly as before. The program supports CArouter as a young company, separately from our provider agreements, so OVHcloud keeps the same place in the routing order.
OVHcloud follows the same rules as every provider. By default, an offer served in Canada by a Canadian-owned provider is tried before any offer from abroad, and a request whose Canadian offers all fail is refused rather than sent to Europe. An API key changes that order only when it opts in to foreign providers.
What the credits are for
The credits go to measurement. Most of what this blog has measured ran on a GB10 or on Intel Arc Pro B60 cards. GPU instances let us measure open-weight models on datacenter cards before we price and publish them. The results will appear here, protocol included.
We will also use OVHcloud's GPUs in Canada to absorb demand spikes on CArouter Cloud. When traffic peaks beyond what our own machines hold, we add capacity in OVHcloud's Canadian datacenters, and those requests are still served in Canada.
Thank you to the OVHcloud Startup Program team for the welcome. The documentation lists every provider on the gateway, OVHcloud AI Endpoints included, with the claim each one makes today.
